Globally, Paula DeAnda's not really known as well, and the people who do know about her have nothing but good things to say about her. She's still young and has a bright future in the business... of course Corpus Christi, TX should know her well especially the HS she went to. lol, don't worry about the people that talk smack about her, (of course it must be hard if you live in her hometown) it happens to all singers. However, something that not all singers have is actual talent, some just make it up there because they represent their culture good, write the songs good, etc. Paula DeAnda, Jojo and a few others have that singing talent. Anyway, those "haters" you speak of are usually just jealous, or maybe misjudged Paula's new video "Easy". That video I did hear people talk smack about for the obvious reasons. I took that video the wrong way when I first saw it, but I've seen her interviews, she's seems like a nice girl that happy to be up there. The meaning behind "Easy" and the music video "looks" like she being stuck up and thinks she's too good for everybody... but that's NOT case. The meaning is don't try to get with her just because you might think she looks good, but get to know her and "play the game" if you want her... BTW, I bet it's hard on Paula and her boyfriend relationship-wise... I've had a long distance relationship not too long ago, and it's hard to keep up with.
