Everyone acts like everyone is so close to her if you went to school with her. Nobody ever expected her to blow up into a BIG TIME STAR.. i knew she had talent but she was a quiet one. She had a voice on her like no other. This girl Ashley S. was a good singer too... just seemed like those two were always trying to beat each other in talent contests. i support paula.. because ive seen a person just like me.. turn something they love to do into a career and future..! its sort of a reality check when i talk to people that went to grant and carroll with her. EVeryone claims shes stuck up and says that she denies that she ever came from corpus christi. but... i guess i missed that radio talk? SHE IS PROUD SHE IS FROM CORPUS CHRISTI ,TEXAS! just sucks that people are jealous and cant get over the fact that her life and career is already started for her. She deserves everything she has. SHE EARNED IT! she pushed and pushed and never gave up. Thats why shes where she is today. so everyone that has gone to grant or carroll with her... you should be lucky.. because you got to see first hand... that dreams do come true for people. Believe in yourself and never give up. SHE ROCKS! she needs to do a little concert here in corpus sometime not just bayfest. paula do it big... your own show!

I've never met this girl in person, but I've seen her interviews and how she's out there off the stage. She seems like a very sweet girl, and I've always hoped she'd be like that if I ever meet her. lol, I'm just too busy con la vida right now, but anyway, about this whole "stuck-up" attitude thing... let me write this:
I've never been a celebrity/artist or so like Paula, but I've been popular before. Anybody you feel looks up to you (fans in this case) that keeps saying "you're the best" and such, it's good to just be sweet to them and like an angel to them as well (like Paula, you're yourself, that's good and we know it)... however, when you come across people who are as high as you are, don't be like you are to fans, put on a mask that kinda shows them you're arrogant, even if it's not you. That's the way you earn respect out there, and you have our talent and youth to back you up girl. If you don't, they'll they'll look down at you, and you won't really be as respected, but more like underrated.
As long as I know you are you, I don't care what I hear about or see you do on TV, I'll just think "This girl is happy where she is, and is greatful to her fans, she deserves where she's at!
People always get jealous if you're very talented and look good. Especially girls... haha. Anyways, thanks for the post. I enjoyed it!
